~ 2008 End of Year Celebration ~


It’s fast approaching….. Thursday May 22th

Some of you have been asking “What’s the game plan?”

The year end party will take place at 6017 Camphor St. (St. Matthew’s) for 8:30 a.m.  Click here for directions.

Program will begin about 9:00 a.m.

The children will sing a few songs and then Papillion will entertain us. We will talk to the children about how we behave at a “performance”. When the group is addressed by an adult or when Papillion is talking or singing – we all listen. It is not polite to speak when we are in the audience. We need your help in teaching this lesson to the children.

There are times when Papillion will invite interaction. We’ll all have fun and enjoy this time together.

After the Papillion performance those of you who are not staying for supper may leave. Some of the teachers will go to the front and read a story. At that time the goal is to gather the children and some of the parents away from the table/food set up. We’ll need some parental help getting the tables set up and chairs arranged. Once the tables are set up – we will excuse the children to join their parents.

We are always proud of the children’s beautiful manners. As you know, we sit quietly if we are finished eating. We get up only after being excused. All of our children know that when we are inside we always use our walking legs. When we are away from Kinder Haus – we sometime need help to remember this.
