Our commitment
Kinder Haus Montessori welcomes every family, and that includes the way we meet you online. We want any parent or guardian to be able to learn about our school, read about our programs, and ask for a tour, whatever their abilities and whatever technology they use.
What we are working toward
We are working to bring this website in line with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.1, Level AA. These are the widely used standards for making web content available to people with visual, hearing, physical, and cognitive disabilities. This is ongoing work rather than a finished job, and the site has not yet been formally audited.
Steps we have taken
- written descriptions for images, so screen readers can describe them;
- clear headings and a consistent page structure, so pages can be navigated by keyboard and by screen reader;
- attention to text and background color contrast;
- text that resizes without breaking the page;
- forms with labeled fields and clear error messages;
- pages that work on phones, tablets, and computers.
Where we know we fall short
Some content on this site comes from outside services we do not fully control — embedded maps, social media feeds, and similar features. Some documents we offer for download may not yet be fully accessible. If you run into one of these, please tell us and we will get you the information another way.
If you have trouble, we will help
You should never have to struggle with our website to reach us. If any part of this site is difficult for you to use, call the school at 504-454-2424 or email info@kinderhausmontessori.com, and a member of our staff will help you directly. We are glad to answer questions by phone, arrange a tour, read information aloud, or provide materials in another format at no cost to you.
It helps us if you can tell us which page you were on and what happened, but please do not let that stop you from getting in touch.

We welcome feedback on the accessibility of this website. It is one of the most useful things a family can tell us, and we take it seriously.
