A three-year classroom that grows with your child
Our Pre-K and Kindergarten classroom is a spacious, welcoming, thoughtfully prepared Montessori
environment designed to meet each child’s individual needs. Children work with progressive Montessori
materials across practical life, math, language, sensorial, science, culture, and the arts, moving from
concrete to abstract learning at their own pace.
The power of mixed ages
Our mixed-age classroom allows younger children to learn from older classmates while older children
develop confidence, leadership, and responsibility. It creates a genuine sense of community — and it
develops the whole child socially, emotionally, physically, and intellectually in a way a single-grade classroom simply can’t.
Freedom within limits
Through freedom of choice within clear boundaries, children build independence, problem-solving,
grace and courtesy, and respect for themselves, others, and their environment. By the end of their
Montessori journey, children are prepared academically, socially, and emotionally for their next step in
school.
Small groups, close attention
Our Pre-K and Kindergarten classroom has 12 children to one teacher, where Louisiana licensing allows 14.
Before your child joins us
Children entering the Pre-K classroom need to be fully potty independent — able to undress, use the bathroom, clean themselves, and dress again on their own.
