What real Montessori looks like — and what we do
Trained guides, not just teachers
In an authentic Montessori classroom, adults are trained to observe and guide rather than lecture from the front.
Multi-age classrooms with a three-year relationship
Our Pre-K and Kindergarten children stay in the same mixed-age community for three years. Older children lead; younger children learn by watching. That continuity is impossible to replicate in a single-grade room.
Real Montessori materials and uninterrupted work
Purpose-built, self-correcting materials, arranged from simple to complex, let children move from concrete to abstract at their own pace — during long, protected work periods rather than constant transitions.
Lower ratios than the state requires
At every level our group sizes are smaller than Louisiana licensing requires — 6-to-1 in Toddler, 8-to-1 in Preschool, and 12-to-1 in Pre-K/Kindergarten — so lessons are given one child at a time.

We absolutely love Kinderhaus Montessori school! I went to KinderHaus as a child and now I'm 25 and supporting my sister enrolling my 1 year old nephew. When I pulled my son out of daycare to put him in Kinder Haus, I noticed a big difference in his demeanor that first week. He was less cranky and more calm. I knew right then that we made the right choice. And everyone at this school is so great and I love how they love my son. 10/10 recommend 🙂
