The best way to understand Montessori is to stand in a classroom and watch children happily at work.
Scheduled tours are available on most Tuesdays, and Thursdays. For parents looking into Preschool, Pre-K, and Kindergarten, times are 9, 9:30, and 10 AM. Tours for parents of Toddlers is 10:30 AM. Please fill out the request at the bottom of this page. You’re also welcome to arrange your visit by phone — call us at (504) 454-2424, Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 6:00 pm.
Why we ask you to request a tour
We don’t take walk-in visits. Every reason for that comes back to the children.
Their safety
Our doors stay locked during the school day and no one enters unannounced. Knowing exactly who is in the building, and when, is the simplest part of keeping children safe.
Their concentration
A Montessori classroom depends on long, uninterrupted stretches of work, and an unexpected visitor breaks that for every child in the room. Setting a time lets us bring you in without disturbing anyone.
Our full attention on your family
We are a small team, and our classrooms hold only a few openings at a time. Arranging your visit in
advance lets us give you an unhurried tour — and confirm that the program you’re asking about has a
place for your child.
